Recolight service level agreement

Helping you stay compliant

As a Recolight collection point there are environmental and health and safety regulations with which you should comply. This is to control the risks associated with the storage and management of hazardous waste.

Our service level agreement (SLA) has been written to make sure that you and Recolight are compliant. 

What we ask you to do

  • Arrange your licences and exemptions from the relevant Environment Agency
  • Look after your containers and provide safe and secure storage
  • Store lamps in your containers with due care and attention in order to minimise breakage
  • Only collect lamps included in the WEEE Regulations

Collection point audits

The Recolight service level agreement states that we may carry out inspections and audits of your collection point.

This is for us to confirm that all terms in the SLA are being met and to help with your compliance.

You may also be audited by the Environment Agency.
