Recolight was established in 2005 by Tungsram lighting, Feilo Sylvania, LEDVANCE and Signify, in preparation for the implementation of the UK WEEE regulations. The Recolight board has four non-Executive Directors representing our founding members.

The Recolight team of WEEE experts provide specialist recycling services
and advice for all lighting in scope of the WEEE regulations.
Nigel has worked in the Product Compliance Industry since 1990 in a variety of senior management roles covering marketing, business development, and operational management. Nigel joined Recolight as Chief Executive and Company Secretary in 2009. He is very active in both the lighting and WEEE sectors:
Nigel has published over 40 articles on WEEE and lighting over the last four years. He was voted Lux Magazine Person of the year in 2012 and has been named as one the UK’s 100 most influential people in the waste/resources industry for the last four years.

Suzanne is a member of the Eucolight Marketing and Communication working group; a platform for sharing best practice with EU member state Producer Compliance Schemes.
Suzanne joined Recolight in 2010 after working for BT Global Services.
Lyndsey joined Recolight in 2010 with a wealth of experience in Customer Service and Account Management within the logistics industry. Lyndsey heads up the Customer Service team managing over 750 collections each month. Lyndsey and her team offer compliance guidance to Recolight Collection points making sure they meet all the requirements set out by the WEEE regulations.
As Customer Service Manager Lyndsey is involved with contract negotiation for our collection partners, set up of new collection points and making sure that all customers meet the terms set out in our Service Level Agreement.
Amel has worked as a Logistics & Compliance Manager for over 10 years. She joins Recolight from Baker Hughes, a GE company, where she was responsible for logistics compliance and freight sourcing. Amel has experience in implementing procedures, policies, and compliance guidelines.
Amel provides support to develop Recolight’s network of commercial collection points across the country as well as setting up supply arrangements with recycling service providers.
Adrian has worked in the UK lighting industry, dealing with luminaire manufacturers, for the last 18 years. He joins Recolight from the major UK component distributor Prime Light Electrical. Previously, Adrian spent fourteen years as Sales Manager for market leading control gear manufacturer Vossloh Schwabe.
Adrian plays an integral role in ensuring our existing members are kept abreast of developments in the industry, which is especially important with the introduction of the updated WEEE Regulations.
