OneClck recognised by Breeam

One Click LCA has announced that it has updated its software to comply with the latest standards from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

One Click LCA, the world’s largest life-cycle assessment platform, has been approved by BRE as a recognised tool for Breeam New Construction Version 7 assessments in the UK, and for international markets.

The approval covers both EN 15804:2013+A1 and EN 15804:2013+A2 standards, which define how environmental product declarations (EPDs) and life-cycle assessments are performed across Europe.

This confirmation allows Breeam assessors and project teams to use One Click LCA to secure the maximum credits available under Mat 01: Building Life Cycle Assessment and Mat 02: Environmental Product Declarations, simplifying the submission process and eliminating manual effort.

‘Project teams are under pressure to deliver accurate, compliant LCAs that meet the Breeam V7 requirements without delaying projects.

‘Our tool is designed to do the heavy lifting. With this official approval, you can automate your reporting, deliver all available Breeam credits, and focus your time on improving project outcomes while providing your clients with the results they demand,’ said Panu Pasanen, CEO of One Click LCA.

Buildings account for 39 per cent of global energy-related carbon emissions. With Breeam V7 embedding life-cycle assessment at multiple design and construction stages, LCA has become a non-negotiable requirement for project certification.

By using One Click LCA’s approved BREEAM V7 module, sustainability professionals aligning to the standard can maximize credits by securing 7+3 credits under Mat 01, and more in other related credits for a fully fitted project.

They can also automate EPD management by securing Mat 02 credits by using product-specific EPDs, with automatic tracking and a one-click download of all EPDs used in your project for evidence submission.

They can also roduce all embodied carbon and full LCA documentation required for a Breeam submission automatically.
