RECOLIGHT REUSE HUB

Recolight Reuse Hub

Avoiding unnecessary recycling for lighting

The need to no longer see luminaires as a single life product has been widely discussed in the Recolight Webinar series. At Recolight, we recycle, but as we move towards a Circular Economy model, recycling is not always the best solution.

Recolight is under a legal obligation to prioritise reuse over recycling, so we need to facilitate and encourage reuse.

LCA & EPDs

Empowering lighting manufacturers to assess environmental impact

Recolight is excited to introduce our new Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) services, specifically designed for lighting manufacturers.

These services will help you quantify and reduce the environmental impact of your products, from material extraction through to end-of-life.

With Recolight’s expertise, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of your product’s environmental footprint and how to mitigate it.

RECOLIGHT’S NET ZERO CARBON COMMITMENT

Back in 2021, Recolight set a target to be net zero by 2030. And we also said that we would not use carbon offsets. To keep our focus on this most essential of targets, we also agreed annual carbon reduction targets.

This commitment covers scopes 1,2 and 3.
