FIS Project Reuse
FIS Project Reuse is an innovative initiative designed to promote the reuse of lighting products and materials within the construction and fit-out sector. The project brings together industry leaders to identify, collect, and redistribute lighting equipment that would otherwise be discarded. Its core aim is to create a robust framework that makes reuse straightforward, beneficial, and accessible for organisations of all sizes.
By focusing on practical solutions and industry-wide collaboration, FIS Project Reuse is driving a shift towards a truly circular economy. The project sets out clear objectives: to divert lighting products from landfill, facilitate the redistribution of quality equipment, and support contractors in integrating reuse into their standard practices.
Recolight and FIS Collaboration
Recolight has joined forces with FIS, the representative body for the Finishes and Interiors Sector, on the Project Reuse initiative. While FIS’s work encompasses the full spectrum of interiors and furnishings, Recolight’s focus within this partnership is to facilitate the reuse of lighting equipment specifically.
