Organised by environmental compliance authority Recolight, this one-day conference and exhibition on Thursday 25 September at the Minster Building in London will put you ahead of the biggest trend in the lighting sector: sustainability.

There’ll be updates on key environmental metrics, standards and legislation, including the new version of TM66, the latest Life Cycle Assessment tools, the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard and EU and UK environmental legislation.

Adding to the mix is a series of inspirational ‘Just One Thing’ micro talks, the presentation ceremony of the prestigious Build Back Better Awards and debates on key issues affecting the lighting community.

Standby too for the unveiling of radical new initiatives and business models to tackle some of big environmental challenges facing the industry.

Other speakers include architect Hamish Angus McAndrew, Benz Roos of Speirs Major Light Architecture, Paul Beale of 18 Degrees and Society of Light and Lighting president Kristina Allison.

A ‘moon shot’ debate will explore ambitious ways to accelerate change in the sector.

Sessions include climate-driven lighting design, the regulatory roadmap, smart luminaire remanufacturing, managing metrics such as environmental product declarations and life cycle assessments, Cat A and commercial office lighting, innovations in circular lighting, the logistics of circularity such as take back schemes and fitting reuse and finally, inspiring and pioneering projects where sustainability is paramount.
