Ray MolonyHead of content for Build Back Better AwardAn award-winning technical journalist and a highly experienced event organiser, chairperson, webinar host and public speaker.
Ray Molony is the editor of the Circular Lighting Report, a Recolight initiative to inform the market of developments in sustainability in the industry. He’s also head of content at the Build Back Better Awards, an initiative to celebrate and reward environmental leadership, innovation, creativity and social purpose in the built environment, and the editor of Designing Lighting Global, a magazine for designers. He was co-founder of Lux magazine and the LuxLive exhibition. He’s also the award-winning author of the acclaimed book, Light: Re-Interpreting Architecture (Rotovision, 2014) which was translated into many languages. He studied engineering at Dublin City University.

Max Robson PhDEnvironmental Metrics and Training ManagerMax joined Recolight in June 2024 to head up Recolight’s LCA and EPD service.
Max has previously worked for as a Science and Research Consultant for ERM: Environmental Resources Management in the Product Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs team, based in the UK.
Here he undertook projects for private and public companies regarding the sustainability of products and services. Including carbon impact assessment of products and technologies/services.
Max was awarded a PhD in Chemistry in 2024 from the University of Bath. He worked on the fabrication of thin film semiconducting metal chalcogenides, primarily using chemical vapour deposition techniques. -
Kael GillamSenior Associate Lighting DesignerKael, (she/they), is a Senior Associate Lighting Designer at Hoare Lea, an interdisciplinary firm of engineers and specialist designers. With an educational background in theatre and a professional career in Architectural Lighting that spans the commercial and hospitality, as well as arts and residential sectors, her designs focus on creating meaningful human-centric experiences and environments.
Alongside her role as a designer, Kael represents the Lighting team in the firm’s Net Zero Carbon network, which promotes education on and implementation of sustainable practices in the construction industry. Through this network, she is championing research in circularity and carbon footprint data modelling to create a better framework for the design and specification of Hoare Lea Lighting’s projects – to make these forward-thinking considerations a standard part of their projects.

Teresa KleberPortfolio Program Manager, LEDVANCETeresa is responsible for Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) governance at LEDVANCE, where she designed and implemented the company’s EPD framework. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, she ensures structured and consistent processes for the development, third party verification and publication of EPDs, supporting LEDVANCE’s ambition to set new standards for environmental performance across its professional lighting portfolio. Her work contributes directly to the company’s broader sustainability and circular economy strategy, including carbon footprint reduction and resource efficiency initiatives. Teresa combines strong project management expertise with a deep understanding of sustainability frameworks and data driven decision making.
Alongside her EPD responsibilities, Teresa has taken on an expanded role as Portfolio Program Manager. This role strengthens the integration of EPDs within product development and management by ensuring they are embedded into product lifecycle processes.
