WARRANTY AND CERTIFICATION
Your 5-Year Return-to-Base Warranty
Recolight Revive provides a 5-year return-to-base (RTB) warranty on remanufactured luminaires.
If a product develops a fault, you return it to the Recolight Revive repair facility and the cost of parts and labour for the repair is covered.
When your project is satisfactorily completed, Recolight Revive issues a certificate confirming the projected energy savings.
How it works
- Your responsibility: pack, insure and pay for the courier to send the item to the repair facility.
- Recolight Revive’s responsibility: technicians fix or replace the hardware defect and pay to ship the repaired item back to you.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, software viruses or consumables (for example, batteries).
Warranty at a Glance
- 5-year warranty: eligible product faults are covered for five years.
- Return to base: the faulty product must be returned for the warranty service.
Because your luminaires are remanufactured to BS 8887-221, the 5-year warranty gives you added confidence that Recolight Revive stands behind the quality and performance of every remanufactured product.
Certification
What You Receive
When your project is satisfactorily completed, Recolight Revive issues a certificate confirming the projected energy savings, the quantity of waste avoided and the embodied carbon saved. It gives you project-specific evidence for your ESG reporting, carbon reduction plans and sustainability targets.
Traceability You Can Rely On
Each remanufactured luminaire, or defined production batch, is clearly marked so it can be identified as remanufactured and traced back to the work carried out. The process follows BS 8887-221:2024 and includes assessment, testing and documentation. Supporting technical documentation is available on request.
Compliance
Where a remanufactured luminaire is treated as a new product under the applicable legislation, the required conformity assessment is completed, a Declaration of Conformity is prepared and the relevant conformity marking is applied.
For remanufactured luminaires, certification is split into two parts:
- demonstrating that the remanufacturing process follows BS 8887-221
- demonstrating that the finished luminaire complies with the applicable product legislation and safety requirements.
